Situated in the heart of Bishops Lydeard, The Bird In Hand is a friendly, local pub. Just a 10 minute walk from the West Somerset Railway,  it offers a perfect location for a light lunch, drink or more substantial meal, home-cooked using many locally-sourced ingredients.

Four well-kept Real Ales are supplied by Cotleigh and Exmoor Breweries, both situated in nearby Wiveliscombe, Quantock Brewery in Wellington, plus many guest ales.

The Bird In Hand has a large enclosed garden which makes a perfect area for children to play. Well behaved dogs, kept on leads, are allowed both in the bar and garden.
